Tilbury Lost 5-4 away to Ilford on Saturday. Despite Manlee Brown (pictured right) scoring 4 goals the Dockers came away from Cricklefields with no points.

Ilford went ahead after 15 minutes, Jarreau McCarthy scored in off the post to take the lead. Ilford extended their lead this time a deflected pass into the box off of the chest of Danny Smith into his own goal.

Into the second period and Ilford go 3 up, McCarthy once again on the end of a long ball, The Dockers keeper Andy Hall came out of his area but McCarthy managed to got a touch to the ball into an open net, 3-0.

The Dockers pull one back Manlee Brown from close range. Ilford go 4 up, Junior Appiah receives the ball clearly 5 yards off side is allowed to head off towards the Dockers goal, Appiah swings the ball accorss goal and Victor Omemogbehin scores from close range.

The Dockers score their 2nd, Manlee Brown on the end of a great ball from Jared Small puts the score at 4-2 to Ilford.

Ilford pour on even more misery on the Dockers and go 5-2 up, this time Substitute Troy Hewitt on the end of a set piece and in acres of space turns to slot home from 6 yards out.

The Dockers step up a gear and pull two goals back in the space of 5 minutes to put the score at 5-4. Tilbury pushed the Foxes defence but ran out of Time.
