Lowestoft 3, Tilbury 0
The Dockers lost 3-0 away to League Champions Lowestoft Town on Saturday. Lowestoft already crowned Champions prior to the game against Tilbury.
The entire afternoon was a carnival atmosphere in which the many travelling Tilbury fans were in fine voice as they joined in the occasion and did the Club proud.
Lowestoft scored their first goal in the 45 minute, Dale Cockrill first to react after Andy Hall fumbled the ball and from close range Cockrill made no mistake.
Second half the Trawler Boys extended their lead, this time Gary McGee lobbed Andy Hall in the 65th minute from just inside the box.
The final goal of the game came from Matt Nolan from just inside the box to make the final score 3-0.
Lowestoft were presented with the Ryman League Division One Winners Cup, Ryman League Chairman Alan Turvey and League Secretary Bruce Badcock doing the honours of presenting worthy winners Lowestoft with the Silverware at the end of the game.
