The Dockers dug deep to take a well earned 3 points against Maldon Town on Saturday -Tilbury took the lead in the 45th minute from a Joe Keith 22 yard free kick – The second half and a corner taken by Skipper Jamie Wallace onto the head of Manlee Brown who nodded the ball into the net from close range to put the Dockers 2-0 up in the 61st minute. The Dockers gave a strong defensive performance against Brentwood Town on Saturday in a goalless draw - Tilbury were made to work for their point against a full strength and well organised Brentwood side - The Dockers gave a battling performance that keeps them in 7th place in the league and a few points off a top 5 position. The Dockers get back to winning ways on Tuesday night - Tilbury beating Harlow Town 4-1 at a wet & windy Chadfield’s Stadium helped the Dockers ease the pain of Saturdays 1-0 loss to Cheshunt - Joe Keith opened the scoring followed by 2 goals from Joel Barnett (pictured left)and the 4th scored by Nathan Gordon. The Dockers crashed on Saturday against a battling Cheshunt side at Theobald's Lane -Tilbury then reduced to 10 men conceded late in the second period of the game when Cheshunt's Darren Williams toe poked home the winner from close range - The Dockers forced through injuries to make several changes to the side that was unbeaten in their last 9 league games. The Dockers prepare to travel to Cheshunt on Saturday 21st November, kick off at 3pm - Tilbury Boss Graham Chester (pictured left) is expected to have a few injuries ahead of the fixture against the Ambers on Saturday - The midweek Cup Game against Ashford Town took it's toll as no less then 4 regular players will be missing from the starting line-up on Saturday.
